And I’d love to say that I have my fall plantings done, but my travels for August and then the start of the Fall semester have kidnapped my time these past few weeks (and the latter item continues to do so…) I’m debating now the question of whether there’s still time to plant bok choy for fall, or if my time’s better spent doing more of the work in straightening out parts of the yard for next year’s season. Leaning toward the latter…
In the meantime, I’m finally starting to catch up on the garden blogs from August and am envying the great work in canning, pickling, and more that’s going on (just the love the artistry of making sauerkraut as presented at Down on the Farm…) I remember engaging in some of this fun with mason jars and pickles and more as a child alongside my mother and would love to get back to it someday…
